A Dream Decades
in the Making
My love affair with Tolkien's work started when I was a young boy watching the animated Hobbit movie and has continued to this day. While my wife was pregnant with our first child, I read the LOTR trilogy to her and she fell in love too.
We also enjoyed B&B Inns from the first time we stayed at the Amber House in Sacramento to our road trip down the Oregon coast. As we returned from the coast, we drove through a beautiful valley and dreamed of building a village of hobbit holes.
That dream merged with our desire to help foster boys grow into strong, caring and responsible young men. So, book your stay soon because we will stop renting out the hobbit holes and convert them to a voluntary youth shelter in 2032.
